You do not need any prior experience or training in this field. This program is designed to prepare you to become a veterinary assistant and learn the entry-level position concepts and skills to manage a veterinary practice as a full-charge bookkeeper.
You should have an Internet connection and e-mailing capabilities and be familiar with using the Internet. You'll also need to have QuickBooks 2017 installed on your computer in order to complete the QuickBooks-related portion of the program.
Students should be familiar with using a personal computer, mouse, and keyboard. They should be comfortable in a Windows environment, and launch and close activities and navigate to information stored on the computer. They should also have an ability to manage files and folders.
