The Mobile and Desktop Web Developer / Responsive Web Design course will teach you how to build dynamic, mobile-first websites using the responsive CSS and JavaScript framework. You will learn the latest web development technologies and gain versatility as a web developer.
In addition, you will learn the fundamentals of PHP, SQL, XML, jQuery, Bootstrap, and WordPress, putting you on the cutting edge of web development. By course completion, you will have built a mobile and desktop website with responsive web design to add to your professional portfolio.

Hardware Requirements:
- This course can be taken on either a PC or Mac, however all the presentations are done using a PC. If you have questions as to how to do an exercise on your Mac, you will be able to ask your instructor.
Software Requirements:
- PC: Windows 10 or later.
- Mac: OS X Mountain Lion 10.8 or later.
- Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge and Safari are also compatible.
- MAMP or XAMPP
- You will need to have Administrative access to your computer so you can properly configure the software and download other software during the courses.
- Visual Studio Code (not included in enrollment, however available as a free download).
- You will need MySQL (instructions for downloading and installing are included in the course)

- Software must be installed and fully operational before the course begins.

7. What happens when I complete the course?
Upon successfully passing the final exam, you will be awarded a certificate of completion from the school or organization that you registered through.
8. Am I guaranteed a job?
ed2go courses will help you gain the skills you need to obtain an entry-level position in most cases. However, you should always research the job market in your area before enrolling.
