Since 2005, one of the largest sponsors of conflict resolution, the American Arbitration Association, reports a double digit increase in dispute cases within a variety of healthcare organizations. With Healthcare as one of the leading growth industries in the United States, the need for mediation and arbitration is forecast to grow at a much higher rate than other specialization. Using the InAccord mediation model combined with family and eldercare mediation issues, you will learn to help companies and individuals resolve simple and complex issues between providers, patients, billing services, doctors, nurses and their families.

The InAccord model teaches empowerment to the disputants through an empirical method of assessing power imbalances at the outset and educating disputants in conflict resolution communication that will serve them long after the dispute has been resolved. The model is predictable, measureable and focused on the unique needs of the parties to a dispute as opposed to the particular approach of any one mediator.
