You will learn how to plan out your work and keep projects on track using this powerful software. In addition, you will gain confidence and competency through hands-on practice exercises. This course combines knowledge of project management scheduling disciplines with the use of the Microsoft Project 2016 software.
This training combines online presentations, reading assignments, and hands-on practice. Throughout the course, you'll participate in quizzes and short case studies to confirm your understanding of the topics. Each module builds on the previous one in a logical progression from entry level to very advanced level skills.
In addition, this course will provide the prerequisite training hours for the Project Management Institute's Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)® credential or PDUs to maintain your PMI qualified certifications.

I have Microsoft Project 2013 (2010, etc.). Can I use that instead of 2016?
No. This is a hands-on course that calls out specific keystroke commands. In every version of Microsoft Project, new features and functions are added or removed and keystrokes will likely change. Additional compatibility issues may exist with using the provided practice files.
Does this course prepare for a certification?
Yes, this course will meet the educational prerequisites for the PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP ®) certification. In addition, this course will meet re-certification requirements (PDUs) for most project management certifications offered through the Project Management Institute (PMI).
