Microsoft Excel 2013 skills are important skills to have in any profession or workplace. More often, no matter the job, the ability to work with Excel spreadsheets is expected in the workplace. Developing skills and experience with Excel allows you to work independently and solve problems. MOS certification is the globally recognized standard for validating expertise with the Microsoft Office 2013 Suite. This course teaches you the skills you need to work in Excel 2013. It also prepares you to take the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification Exam 77-420.
The material is presented in a step-by-step manner, and you will learn practical application through readings, hands-on exercises, and video presentations. The course also includes quizzes and exams, so you can regularly assess your skills. Through this Excel training, you will learn essential skills to create and edit basic worksheets and workbooks. You will learn advanced formulas, lists, and illustrations. You will then advance to adding charts, complex formatting, styles, and pivot tables. In the advance stages of the course, you will audit and analyze worksheet data to identify trends and progress. You will also strategically use data tools, collaborate with others, and create and manage macros. When you register you receive six (6) months to complete this course.

Tracy Berry has been a senior graphic designer/programmer, instructor, and consultant since 1993 and has developed hundreds of logos, marketing materials, websites, and multimedia solutions for customers worldwide. She was also involved in several large corporate software rollouts. She has helped many organizations optimize and streamline data solutions. She teaches both onsite and online courses and has her CTT (Certified Technical Trainer) certification. Tracy specializes in teaching graphics, desktop publishing, web design, and reporting/productivity applications.
1. Can I register for programs if I am an international student?
Yes, because ed2go programs are online you never have to actually travel to the school. Most schools offer telephone or online registration.

All of our programs are self-paced and open enrollment, so you can start them when you want and finish them at your own pace. When you register you receive six (6) months to complete this program.

No additional materials are required for this program.
4. Can I get financial assistance?
ed2go courses are non-credit courses, so they do not qualify for federal aid. In some states, vocational rehab or workforce development boards will pay for qualified students to take our courses. Additionally, some students may qualify for financial assistance when they enroll, if they meet certain requirements.
5. What happens when I complete the program?
Upon successful completion of the program, you will be awarded a certificate of completion.
6. Am I guaranteed a job?
ed2go programs will provide you with the skills you need to obtain an entry-level position in most cases. We don’t provide direct job placement services, but our facilitators and career counselors will help you build your resume and are available to give advice on finding your first job. Facilitators will also be available to use as a professional reference upon completion of the program. Potential students should always do research on the job market in their area before registering.
7. Who will be my instructor?
Each student is paired with a facilitator for one-on-one interaction. The facilitator will be available (via e-mail) to answer any questions you may have and to provide feedback on your performance. All of our facilitators are successful working professionals in the fields in which they teach.
8. What software or hardware do I need in order to take online programs and what are the system requirements?
In order to take our online programs, you must have access to a computer and the Internet. You can access the program contents from any Web-enabled computer. You don’t have to use the same computer to log-in to the program every time. We recommend that you have a word-processing program (Microsoft Word is best), the latest version of Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Excel 2013. Review the “Requirements” tab for information for a free trial of the 2013 Microsoft Office Suite, which includes Excel 2013.
9. Can I use a Mac?
No, this program cannot be taken on a Mac.

Yes, this course has been tested and certified to prepare students to take the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification Exam 77-420. The exam and the exam fee are not included in the program.
13. What if I don't have enough time to complete my program within the time frame provided?
The
time allotted to complete your program has been calculated based on the
number of hours for each program, so don't worry too much about not
completing in time. If, after a concerted effort, you are still unable
to complete, your Student Advisor will help you work out a suitable
completion date. Please note that a fee will be charged for an
extension.
