This online Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training course will help you further develop your process improvement, project management, and leadership skills.
As a Black Belt, you will be able to coach Green Belts to complete successful projects that deliver significant, sustainable results. You will learn how to communicate and influence people at all levels of your organization to manage change effectively while understanding the why, what and how of statistical analysis tools. You'll learn to manage multiple projects and ensure their alignment to meet organizational goals. You will also receive 1-on-1 Project Coaching with a Master Black Belt which will help ensure that your project is completed properly and efficiently.

The instructional materials required for this course are included in enrollment and will be available online.
To be successful in this course, it is strongly recommended that you complete your Black Belt project at your current place of employment. Black Belt-level process improvement projects require significant real-time data, which is easier to obtain when you are presently employed. Projects must also be based on an actual business and are subject to approval by a Master Black Belt. Examples include:
If you are currently unemployed, then you should instead take a Green Belt level certification course like Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
You must be a Green Belt to take the Black Belt certification exam. In order to take the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification course, you will be required to provide an approved Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training Certification certificate or test out of the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course. He is an experienced trainer, mentor and coach with the ability to relate to all levels within an organization. He has led and coached hundreds of improvement projects. Can I register for a course if I am an international student?

Does this course prepare for a certification?
Yes, you will be prepared for the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification and be able to sit for the exam after successful completion of the course and financial obligation.

How long does it take to complete this course?
This course is self-paced and open enrollment, so you can start when you want and finish at your own pace. When you register, you'll receive six (6) months to complete the course.
What if I don't have enough time to complete my course within the time frame provided?
The time allotted for course completion has been calculated based on the number of course hours. However, if you are unable to complete the course, contact the student advising team to see what options you may have available to work out a suitable completion date. Please note that an extension fee may be charged.
What kind of support will I receive?
The course instructor will be available by email to answer any questions and provide feedback on your performance. Occasionally, your course may be supported by a team of industry experts. You will also receive support from the student advising team.
What happens when I complete the course?
Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded a certificate of completion. In addition, you will be able to sit for the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification after successful completion of the course and financial obligation.
Am I guaranteed a job?
This course will provide you with the skills you need to obtain an entry-level position in most cases. Potential students should always do research on the job market in their area before registering.
Can I get financial assistance?
This course is non-credit, so it does not qualify for federal aid, FAFSA and Pell Grant. In some states, vocational rehab or workforce development boards will pay for qualified students to take our courses. Additionally, some students may qualify for financial assistance when they enroll, if they meet certain requirements. Financing is available from select schools. What if I do not pass the project requirement of the course?
You are allowed 3 revisions of your project, where you are provided feedback by a Master Black Belt. If you fail to pass after 3 revisions, there will be a fee of $300 to submit another revision.
Why is it highly recommended that I be employed to complete a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt project?
A Black Belt project is a quality improvement project that demonstrates measurable results, such as improving business processes, reducing defects and waste production, and increasing efficiency. For the greatest possibility of success with this course, it is highly recommended that you complete the project at your current place of employment in order to gather the necessary data in real time. If you are currently unemployed, consider our Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course. In some cases, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt project could be home-based, volunteer project, or based on past employment.
