CompTIA™ Security+ Certification Training

Gain the skills you need to be a security professional, and prepare to take the CompTIA™ Security+ certification SY0-601 exam, as you master the basics of system security, network infrastructure, access control, and organizational security. After you complete this course, you'll be proficient in installing and configuring systems to secure applications, networks, and devices. You'll also be comfortable performing threat analysis and responding with appropriate mitigation techniques, participating in risk mitigation activities, and operating with an awareness of applicable policies, laws, and regulations.

This course offers enrollment with or without a voucher. The voucher is prepaid access to sit for the certifying exam upon eligibility. After completing the course, you can set up your own exam dates and times at a nearby testing center.

It is recommended to have at least two years of technical networking experience with an emphasis on security.

How long does it take to complete this course?

This course is self-paced and open enrollment, so you can start when you want and finish at your own pace. When you register, you'll receive six (6) months to complete the course.

The time allotted for course completion has been calculated based on the number of course hours. However, if you are unable to complete the course, contact your Student Advisor to help you work out a suitable completion date. Please note that an extension fee may be charged.
