The Administrative Professional with Microsoft Office 2013 Master training program teaches the basic and necessary skills to work as an Administrative Professional, including the proficiencies required to work with four major Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. The program also prepares you for the Microsoft Certification Exams 77-418, 77-425, and 77-426 (Word), 77-420, 77-427, and 77-428 (Excel), 77-422 (PowerPoint), and 77-423 (Outlook).

This program can only be taken on a PC. It is not Mac compatible. It is compatible with Windows XP and later operating systems and IE 9 and later browsers.

Janie Sullivan, MBA, MAEd, has been teaching adult learners for over 20 years. She has taught online over 10 years, specializing in writing, communications, and small business applications. She is the co-director of the Center for Teaching Excellence, an online resource for faculty development. Janie also directs the Center for Writing Excellence where she offers writing services, sponsors a writing contest, blogs, and publishes a free electronic newsletter for writers. Both centers are divisions in the Institute for Instructional Excellence, which Janie co-founded in 2009. She has been published in several newspapers and magazines as well as multiple online sites. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be awarded a certificate of completion.
6. Am I guaranteed a job?
ed2go programs will provide you with the skills you need to obtain an entry-level position in most cases. We don’t provide direct job placement services, but our facilitators and career counselors will help you build your resume and are available to give advice on finding your first job. Facilitators will also be available to use as a professional reference upon completion of the program. Potential students should always do research on the job market in their area before registering.
7. Who will be my instructor?
Each student is paired with a facilitator for one-on-one interaction. The facilitator will be available (via e-mail) to answer any questions you may have and to provide feedback on your performance. All of our facilitators are successful working professionals in the fields in which they teach.
8. What software or hardware do I need in order to take online programs and what are the system requirements?
In order to take our online programs, you must have access to a computer and the Internet. You can access the program contents from any Web-enabled computer. You don’t have to use the same computer to log-in to the program every time. We recommend that you have a word-processing program (Microsoft Word is best) and the latest version of Internet Explorer.

No, this program cannot be taken on a Mac.
