This course will prepare you for CompTIA A+ certification. You can earn this certification after you pass two exams. The CompTIA A+ Certification Exam 220-1001, covers mobile devices, networking technology, hardware, virtualization and cloud computing and network troubleshooting. The CompTIA A+ Certification Exam 220-1002 covers installing and configuring operating systems, expanded security, software troubleshooting, and operational procedures.

Although there are no prerequisites to enroll in the course, CompTIA recommends all A+ exam applicants having up to 12 months of hands-on experience in the lab or field before taking the certification exam. Additionally, you should have basic knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems—for example, how to power up and log on to a machine, how to use a mouse and keyboard, and basic Microsoft Windows navigation skills.

What kind of support will I receive?
You may be assigned with an instructor or team of industry experts for one-on-one course interaction. Your support will be available (via email) to answer any questions you may have and to provide feedback on your performance. What happens when I complete the course?
Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded a certificate of completion. In addition, you will receive exam vouchers for the CompTIA 220-901 and 220-902 exams after successful completion of the course and financial obligation.

This course is non-credit, so it does not qualify for federal aid, FAFSA and Pell Grant. You will be given 90 minutes to compete a maximum of 90 questions on the exam.
