How long should I study for the CISSP exam?
According to (ISC)2, most risk management professionals find that 60-70 hours of time is adequate time to prepare for and pass the CISSP exam. An experienced IT professional would need less time — around 40-50 hours of study should suffice to pass the exam. Does this course prepare for a certification?
Yes, you will be prepared to sit for the (ISC)2 CISSP – Certified Systems Security Professional exam and the exam cost is included with your enrollment. To sit for the exam, you will need to meet the following requirements:

Have a minimum of five years cumulative paid work experience in two or more of the eight domains of the CISSP CBK. Earning a four-year college degree or regional equivalent or an additional credential from the (ISC)² approved list will satisfy one year of the required experience. Education credit will only satisfy one year of experience.

If you do not have the required experience to become a CISSP, you may become an Associate of (ISC)² by successfully passing the CISSP examination. As an Associate of (ISC)², you will have six years to earn the five years required experience.

Upon successful completion of your boot camp session, you will be awarded a certificate of completion from Infosec and the school or organization that you registered through.
