Whether you are a new or existing SharePoint user, this course will provide you with the skills you need to manage SharePoint sites. The course will begin with an introduction to SharePoint versions, layout, and navigation, in addition to SharePoint basics such as list and library views. Then, you'll learn to work with sites and page content, including wiki pages, and practice working within forms libraries to create InfoPath forms and manage site columns and content types. Finally, you'll practice integrating SharePoint with Office applications, manage SharePoint site permissions, and participate in user communities.
During the second part of the course, you'll learn the fundamentals of managing SharePoint sites as you create custom workflows, use content approval settings, and work with metadata. You'll also learn about business connectivity services, information management policies, and the organization of content with settings and rules. With these new skills, you'll be able to manage comprehensive sections on using the Document ID Service, document sets, publishing to a server, and configuring and consuming site search results.

Instructional Material Requirements:
The instructional materials required for this course are included in enrollment. All lab exercises will use virtual machines to provide you with a pre-configured environment. Manuals are included as downloadable PDFs throughout the course.
Prerequisites:
There are no prerequisites to take this course. The interactive lab environments require weekly check-ins and activity. In order to proceed to the advanced Power User portion, you need to master the End User portion of the course.

Can I register for a course if I am an international student?
