  • Read a basic company print and determine the critical features on a part that need measurement.
  • Explain common features found in part prints and how to inspect them.
  • Read an electrical wire diagram and identify all components located within the electrical circuit from their symbols.
  • Explain the symbols commonly used in a GD&T print.
  • Explain key GD&T concepts such as bonus tolerance, Rule #1, Rule #2, and various approaches for situating a part within the datum reference frame.
  • Explain how to interpret form, profile, orientation, location, and runout tolerances using GD&T.
