1. Can I register for courses if I am an international student?
Yes. ed2go courses are online, so you never have to actually travel to the school. Most schools offer telephone or online registration.
2. How long does it take to complete a course?
This course is self-paced and open enrollment, so you can start them when you want and work at your own pace. When you register, you will receive six (6) months to complete the course.
3. What if I don't have enough time to complete my courses within the time frame provided?
The time allotted for course completion has been calculated based on the number of course hours. However, if you are unable to complete the course, contact your Student Advisor to help you work out a suitable completion date. Please note that an extension fee may be charged.
4. Do I have to buy additional materials?
All the materials needed are included, and their cost will be covered by your tuition. Upon enrollment, ed2go will ship all materials via ground service.
5. Can I get financial assistance?
ed2go courses are non-credit, so they do not qualify for federal aid. However, vocational rehab and workforce development boards in some states will pay for qualified students to take our courses. Additionally, some students may qualify for financial assistance if they meet certain requirements.
6. What happens when I complete the course?
Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.
7. Am I guaranteed a job?
This course will provide you with the skills needed to obtain an entry-level position in most cases. We do not offer direct job placement services, but our instructors and career counselors will help you build your resume and provide advice on starting your career. Instructors can also be used as a professional reference upon course completion. However, you should always research the job market in your area before registering for a course.
8. Who will be my instructor?
All of our course instructors are successful working professionals in the fields in which they teach. The instructor is available by email to answer any questions you may have and provide one-on-one feedback on your performance.
9. What software or hardware do I need in order to take online courses and what are the system requirements?
In order to take ed2go courses, you need access to a computer and the Internet. You can access the course contents from any web-enabled computer. We recommend that you have a word-processing program (Microsoft Word is the best) and the latest version of Internet Explorer.
10. Can I use a Mac?
Yes, you can use a Mac for this course.

No, but you will receive insight on how to obtain an internship or externship.
14. Do I need experience in human resources to take this course?
No. You do not need to have experience in human resources to take this course. However, you will need experience as a human resources representative to take the PHR exam, administered by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).
15. Does this course prepare for certification?
Yes, this course prepares you to sit for the Human Resource Certification Institute’s PHR exam. However, you will need experience in the human resources field before you are eligible to take this exam. Please reference the Prerequisites section for more information.
