This course will prepare you for three CompTIA IT certifications that are ideal for entry-level and mid-level professionals: A+, Network+ and Security+. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be prepared to sit for the following exams: CompTIA A+ Exams 220-1001 and 220-1002, CompTIA Network+ Exam N10-007, and CompTIA Security+ Exam SY0-601. This course offers enrollment with or without vouchers. The vouchers are prepaid access to sit for the certifying exams upon eligibility.
At the end of this CompTIA training, you'll also be proficient in basic cybersecurity concepts such as attacks and mitigation, security applications, risk assessment, disaster recovery and incident response, cloud computing, mobile devices, BYOD and SCADA, in addition to vulnerability assessment.

Although there are no prerequisites to enroll in the course, CompTIA recommends having up to 12 months of hands-on experience in the lab or field before taking the A+ and Network+ certification exams. Two years of experience in IT administration with a security focus are recommended for the Security+ exam.

Can I register for a course if I am an international student?

Does this course prepare me for a certification?
Yes, the CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ Certification training course prepares you for three of the latest CompTIA certifications. When can I start the course?
This course is open enrollment, so you can register and start the course as soon as you are ready. Access to your course can take 24-48 business hours.
How long does it take to complete this course?
This course is self-paced and open enrollment, so you can start when you want and finish at your own pace. When you register, you'll receive twelve (12) months to complete the course.
What if I don't have enough time to complete my course within the time frame provided?
The time allotted for course completion has been calculated based on the number of course hours. However, if you are unable to complete the course, contact your Student Advisor to help you work out a suitable completion date. Please note that an extension fee may be charged.
What kind of support will I receive?
You may be assigned with an instructor or team of industry experts for one-on-one course interaction. Your support will be available (via email) to answer any questions you may have and to provide feedback on your performance. All of our instructors are successful working professionals in the fields in which they teach. You will be assigned to an Advisor for academic support.
What happens when I complete the course?
Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded a certificate of completion. You will also receive exam vouchers for the CompTIA A+ Exams 220-901 and 220-902, CompTIA Network+ Exam N10-006, and CompTIA Security+ Exam SY0-501 once you've met your financial obligation and completed all coursework.
Am I guaranteed a job?
This course will provide you with the skills you need to obtain an entry-level position in most cases. Potential students should always do research on the job market in their area before registering.
Can I get financial assistance?
This course is non-credit, so it does not qualify for federal aid, FAFSA and Pell Grant. In some states, vocational rehab or workforce development boards will pay for qualified students to take our courses. How do I do the applied labs if I don't have equipment?
You can still do the applied labs even if you don't have equipment. The majority of the labs in these training courses can be completed using the online lab system. You'll receive a lab scheduling link within your course.

What can I expect during each exam?
While each exam is slightly different, you can expect some similarities. You will be given 90 minutes to compete a maximum of 90 questions on each exam. CompTIA Certification exams are composed of multiple choice questions, drag and drop questions and performance-based questions (PBQs). PBQs are designed to simulate an environment you are likely to encounter in the workplace and test your ability to problem-solve. While not every CompTIA certification exam includes PBQs, you will find them on all of these core skills certifications. You can test your skills in sample PBQs on the CompTIA website.
Where will I take my CompTIA certification exams?
You will take your CompTIA Certification Exams at a Pearson VUE testing center. These proctored testing centers can be found nationwide and located on the Pearson VUE site at: www.pearsonvue.com
How long does my certification last?
These certifications typically expire three years after the date they are issued. However, you will be able to extend the life of your certification in three-year intervals by completing approved continuing education. Continuing education (CE credits) helps you stay up-to-date in your knowledge within a constantly changing IT industry. Earning higher-level CompTIA certifications will also provide an extension for your certification as you progress in your career.
